May 14 2008...About to Set Out

Hi all, A Pink American here...for the low down on the pen-name read the story here.

The day is nearing...should it be more astounding that I'm heading off to Europe or that Martina is FINALLY getting married? (That's her on the right)

I'd go with the latter.

In two days (May 16th) I'll be in the skies zooming across the so-called 'pond' (aka Atlantic Ocean).

Once I touch down in London, I begin my 11 day trek of moral support for my dear friend Martina and her soon-to-be husband Marco.

First, I enjoy 4 brief days in the UK:

And am I crazy to fly over to my root-land of Ireland for only a 6 hour stay? Perhaps. I have ulterior motives as well.
